Executive Director, Value Added Services and Diversity Products
Ilene Albert serves as Executive Director, Value Added Services and Diversity Products for Cox Communications, in Atlanta, GA, leading its broadband adoption and accessibility programs, and setting direction for Cox’s value-added services, including email, data usage and security suite. Albert’s team has responsibility for leading the definition, and ensuring the development and delivery of products and services that meet the needs of all customers, including those with disabilities.
Albert oversees Cox’s Connect2Compete program – a discounted Internet offer for low income families with school-aged children. Through its participation in the Connect2Compete program, Cox has helped to reduce the number of Americans without access to the Internet. Since the program was created in 2012, more than a quarter-million individuals have been connected to the Internet, many for the first time.
Albert joined Cox in 2003. During this time, she has played several key roles in the development of Cox’s phone and Internet products through strategic contributions in the areas of product development and operations.
Before joining Cox, Albert served seven years in a variety of Strategic Pricing and Marketing  roles with Sprint.
A graduate of the University of Florida, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications. Albert lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband and two daughters.
